About -
Kate Parrott is the founder and Reiki Master Teacher at Little School of Reiki, a cosy community for sensitive souls in Ubud, Bali. Her Reiki journey began in 2015 during a period of personal exhaustion despite a successful art career in London. A volunteer project in Borneo sparked travel across Southeast Asia, where she discovered Reiki at a yoga center in Cambodia.
Initial sessions left her feeling rejuvenated, and learning self-practice helped dissolve lifelong social anxiety and inner blocks. Visible transformations followed, including healthier appearance and deeper self-connection. After living in Cambodia, India, Thailand, and settling in Indonesia for eight years, Kate began her professional practice.
Teaching Reiki became an unplanned but fulfilling calling, with over 500 healing sessions, 200+ trainings, and 400+ certified students. Kate's approach is grounded in traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Ryōhō (retrained for authenticity), blending philosophy, hands-on practice, and ongoing support in small, live groups—free from dogma, focused on depth and gentleness.
